CRETESEAL – WATERPROOFING AND CRACK ISOLATION

Lilac Creteseal is an acrylic-based, polymer-modified, cementitious composite designed as an extreme waterproofing solution.

Product Description
Lilac Creteseal is a high-performance integral membrane for waterproofing under tile and stone installations. It is suitable for submerged applications such as pools, bathrooms, rooftops, spas, fountains, and water features. It can also be used as a high-performance crack isolation membrane with LILAC SBR 31. LILAC CRETESEAL is an additive for cement composites, creating a thin, continuous barrier that protects against water penetration in wet areas.

Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be clean and free from dust, oil, grease, paint, tar, wax, curing agents, primers, sealers, release agents, or any debris that could prevent or reduce adhesion. Concrete substrates must be fully cured (at least 28 days old), dry, and free from hydrostatic conditions or extreme moisture issues.

Application

  • Mix 1 liter of Lilac Creteseal acrylic polymer with 2 kg of neat cement, stirring thoroughly until no air bubbles remain.
  • Apply the mixture to the prepared surface using a brush, mixing frequently.
  • Two or more coats are recommended for water-containing surfaces. Allow the first coat to air dry for 5 hours before applying the second coat.
  • Coverage: 1 liter of LILAC CRETESEAL covers approximately 50–60 sq. ft. (coverage may vary depending on surface condition).
  • For additional protection and durability, apply a cement layer after using Creteseal and SBR 31.

Curing

  • Apply LILAC CRETESEAL at room temperature. During the first 10 hours, protect it from rain, abrasion, and other adverse conditions.
  • Store properly and keep out of reach of children.
